If you’re anything like me, you probably think that music is one of the most important things in game. It sets the atmosphere, the emotions and the mood of gameplay.
So it’s no wonder that working on the music of Retropolis was the most fun part for me to work on. We had the luck to start working with Yuval Levi, who's an amazing composer and music producer. Each time we added his music to the puzzles in the games the whole thing just came alive.
The music is what stays with you after you finish playing. you can still humm the melody and remember the feeling of the game. As the dev of Retropolis I’ve played it countless times, but still, the music always affects me. It’s like magic.
